Join a Supportive and Collaborative Team

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director in managing day-to-day operations of the daycare center, including
staffing, and, scheduling.
• Support teaching staff, and lead as parent liaison.
• Assist in maintaining licensing and accreditation standards, ensuring compliance with
regulatory requirements and safety protocols.
• Manage parent communication and engagement initiatives, including conducting tours,
and addressing parent concerns or inquiries.
• Oversee enrollment and admissions processes, including conducting tours, processing
applications, and maintaining enrollment records.
• Assist in budget management for third party vendor.
• Ensure all third-party documentation remains current and compliant.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and training
sessions to stay informed about best practices and trends in early childhood education.
• Provide coverage for teacher breaks and fill in as a substitute as required.

Qualifications

• Meet state hour requirements
• Pass background check
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a leadership role in a daycare or early childhood
education setting.
• Knowledge of state licensing regulations and accreditation standards for childcare
centers.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and empower
staff.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with daycare management software
(e.g., ProCare, Childcare Manager) preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) required.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including staff, parents, and
community partners.
• Spanish speaking.
